"We began life as simple floating spheres. As eggs we popped from follicles of mothers-to-be. Fertilised by sperm in
fallopian tubes, dividing again and again, our spheres persisted. But when we nestled and flattened into the womb's wall,
and, later, groped with arms and kicked with legs, an interplay between the sphere and its contrary began. This interplay
forever follows us: by day we walk as upright sticks; at night we curl into fetal balls." Tyler Volk, Metapatterns (Colombia
University Press, USA, 1995) page 3.

The circle is the central focus of my work, it contains 'all' and is represented in our
sphere of understanding at every level, from the sub-atomic particle to the planets of our universe. The circle is also represented
and recognised by all cultures within this world. The colours I use reflect the bright clear light of my heritage.
