PERSONAL
I am a visual artist working across several disciplines at once, my strengths lie in printmaking, painting, photography, and more recently installation. My studio is situated beside native bush on our property in Dairy Flat. I have a growing interest in web page design and am developing strong computer skills on my Macintosh computer. I have always recognised and utilised art as a therapeutic tool.
I enjoy teaching and completed my MA with a view to teach at tertiary level.
I have been part-time teaching print and 2D visual language to year 1 and 2 students on the Batchelor of Visual Arts programme (MIT) since 2002.
2005 I taught an introductory arts course to Year 11 students who visited the Auckland University Visual Arts programme at Manukau.
Previously I have taught art at Toi Ora Live Arts Trust and I have also been involved in a school holiday printmaking programme at Te Tuhi - the mark.

Ideally I am looking for a permanent tertiary position that will challenge me and also allow me time to work at my own art practice.

Goals
My immediate goal is to teach in a top class art school or art educational establishment and work in my own studio developing ideas from years of research.
I am presently looking for a suitable doctorate programme to continue my studies.
